GETTING STARTED

What can I expect when I meet with Dr. Warpeha?

Our friendly and professional office staff will greet you, answer preliminary questions and appoint you with Dr. Warpeha.   Because we know that a difficult dental situation has social and emotional implications, we congratulate and support patients for the courage to seek change for better health.

At the initial appointment,  Dr. Warpeha will listen carefully to learn more about you, what you want and need in dentistry, and supply viable options for your consideration. You can help his analysis by supplying dental records, periodontal measurements, study models and x-rays.   Dr. Warpeha is adept at seeing you as others see you and makes mental notes on the comfort with which you speak, defects in your smile, and the relationship of your teeth to your face.

Dr. Warpeha then examines your teeth, oral structures and facial muscles, to gather first-hand information on your current status.  He notes the existing structures that could be useful in treatment and then considers the range of solutions.

Most treatments plans can be determined during this initial appointment. Many years of experience are evident in the confidence Dr. Warpeha displays in his diagnosis and recommended treatment plan options.

How can I decide what to do?

You will leave the first appointment understanding your dental needs and treatment options and with enough information to make an informed decision.  It is important that you fully understand your options and are completely comfortable with your choice. These solution may be conventional procedures or they may involve high tech equipment and materials.  To help you make your decision, Dr. Warpeha remains available for a second (or third) consultation at no additional cost. The proper treatment is usually the one that makes sense to you. It does what you want - it just seems right.

Is full mouth treatment difficult?

As treatment progresses, we are available to support you through multiple appointments and procedures.  Since we are dealing with the human body, it is possible that there will be unanticipated changes and those changes will be dealt with in the best way possible.   Our clinic is geared for an amazingly efficient use of modern dental materials and equipment that speeds treatment while keeping our patients comfortable during and after appointments.  Since everything is custom-made for you and your special needs, we are able to provide optimal function, strength and appearance.

Can I afford extensive dentistry?

We treat people of all ages and income levels at the Warpeha Prosthodontic Clinic realizing that excellent dentistry, in spite of being useful for many years, remains expensive. It is our policy to use only the most serviceable materials and often time-consuming specialty procedures are performed.  Dr. Warpeha and his staff are creative in staging treatment, arranging payments and making high quality treatment possible.  The proposed treatment options and their costs will be discussed in detail.

What if I can’t afford the “ideal” treatment?

We recommend cost containment options in several ways:
· Present an alternative treatment plan when the most ideal plan is out of reach.
· Tailor the treatment to our patient’s personal desires to avoid over-treatment.
· Prioritize treatments with a cost vs. benefit analysis.
· Use more conservative procedures when possible.
· Phase treatments to keep ahead of expected problems.
· Use our on-site laboratory when possible, often saving money and time.

Once the level of treatment is agreed upon, then our financial assistants can explore payment sources. Common payment options include personal dental insurance, spouse's dental insurance, medical insurance, homeowner's insurance, auto insurance, Medical Savings Accounts, Flex benefits, Workman's Compensation, Veterans benefits and other public programs. Limited payment plans are available for some treatments. Also, we offer a courtesy discount to reflect our savings in administrative costs for cash payment at the start of treatment.

Do you offer payment plans?
